Abstract

Dieses Buch ist der Ausgangspunkt der weltweiten Diskussion um die Postmoderne. Von Wittgensteins Theorie der Sprachspiele her entwickelt Jean-Francois Lyotard Ansätze zu einem völlig neuen Postmoderne-Begriff. Mit der Verwendung dieses Begriffs in der Architektur hat sein philosophisches Konzept nur noch den Namen gemeinsam. Lyotard versucht, den Umbruchcharakter unserer Jahrhundertwende zu begreifen
