Abstract

Das Handbuch bietet einen fundierten und breiten Überblick über neue Konzepte zur Informationskompetenz aus der Sicht der Bibliotheks-, Informations- und Erziehungswissenschaft sowie der Hochschuldidaktik und der Wissenschaftspolitik. Es enthält Beiträge zu Strategien und praktischen Realisierungen der Förderung von Informationskompetenz in Vorschule, Schule, Studium und wissenschaftlicher Forschung. Der lernförderlichen und nutzorientierten Gestaltung dieser Angebote durch Infrastrukturen, Beratungs- und Serviceangebote sowie durch didaktisch maßgeschneiderte Planungen kommt besondere Bedeutung zu.
