    Fachsprachen sind in vielen Bereichen unverzichtbare Kommunikationsvoraussetzung. Wie entstehen, entwickeln und etablieren sich Fachsprachen? Mit dem Phänomen des Fachsprachlichen setzt sich derzeit die Linguistik verstärkt auseinander. Besonders spannend werden die Forschungsergebnisse, wenn - wie in dem vorliegenden Falle - die Linguisten diese Forschungsarbeit in einem Bereich leisten, dem sie persönlich eng verbunden sind.     Abstract
    In der Stadtbücherei Heidelberg wird dem Auskunftsdienst seit Jahren eine besondere Bedeutung beigemessen. Neben einem klassischen, intensiv gepflegten Bestand an Nachschlagewerken bietet der sogenannte 'Info-Dienst' der Bibliothek für den Informationsbedarf der Benutzer zusätzlich selbst erstellte Informationsangebote. CD-ROMs als Auskunftsmittel an der Information und zur selbständigen Nutzung an 2 Benutzerstationen sowie seit Januar dieses Jahres der Internet-Zugang für Benutzer an 2 Windows-NT-Workstations beziehen andere Formen und Wege der Informationsbeschaffung ein. Ihr Einsatz hat das Aufgaben- und Tätigkeitsfeld gewandelt und wird es zukünftig noch stärker prägen. Dabei hat sich die Spezialisierung der Mitarbeiterinnen des Info-Dienstes bewährt: Dieser besteht derzeit personell aus jeweils 2 Bibliothekarinnen und Assistentinnen

    Abstract
    Lecture given at the AIBM conference, Karlsruhe, Sep 95. The thesaurus appeared 1st in 1982, produced according to DIN standard 1463. This standard is largely adhered to, with 2 deviations: the controlled vocabulary is rather universal, covering more than 1 musical field, and descriptors are used as systematic collection points, with non-decriptors as subordinate headings. The 1994 edition has widened its contents range. There are still problems with ambiguity of headings and titles
