- Abstract
- Das 26. Kolloquium über Patentinformation "PATINFO 2004" unter dem Motto: Patentrecht und Patentrecherche - Mittel zu Innovationen-fand vom 3. bis 4. Juni 2004 an der Technischen Universität Ilmenau in Thüringen statt. Das Thema war bewusst gewählt, um an die Zielsetzung der Bundesregierung anzuknüpfen, die das Jahr 2004 zum Jahr der Innovationen erklärt hat. Vor dem Hintergrund der Erweiterung der Europäischen Union und dem dringenden Erfordernis des wirtschaftlichen Aufschwungs kommt dem Zuwachs an Innovationen eine ganz besondere Bedeutung zu. Wie in jedem Jahr sorgte das Patentinformationszentrum und Online Dienste "PATON" für die Auswahl namhafter Referenten und eine hervorragende Vorbereitung und Organisation in der Stadthalle von Ilmenau. Mehr als Zoo Fachleute aus zehn Ländern von vielen Unternehmen und Hochschulen nutzten diese Tagung, um sich über Neuentwicklungen zu informieren und Erfahrungen auszutauschen. PATON ist es auch in diesem Jahr wieder gelungen, international renommierte Aussteller zu verpflichten, ihre neuen oder erweiterten Dienstleistungen zu präsentieren und Besuchern einen direkten Test ihrer neuen Produkte zu ermöglichen.

- Abstract
- Die 37. Arbeitssitzung der AGM (Arbeitsgruppe Elektronische Medien in der Patentinformation) beim Technischen Informationszentrum des Deutschen Patent- und Markenamtes in Berlin am 12. November 2009 stand wie in jedem Jahr unter dem Motto "Fortschritte in der Patentinformation". Die Arbeitsgruppe besteht seit 37 Jahren und hat inzwischen rd. 80 Mitglieder aus Wirtschaft und Behörden, die bei Bedarf regelmäßig informiert werden. In diesem Jahr haben wieder 38 Fachleute den Weg nach Berlin gefunden, um sich mit Fragen und Problemen der Patentinformation auseinanderzusetzen.

- Abstract
- Nach dem Scheitern des gemeinschaftlichen Projekts von vier Verbundregionen musste der Bibliotheksverbund Bayern rasch die nicht Jahr-2000-fähige Verbundsoftware migrieren und zeitgleich die Suche nach einer geeigneten neuen Verbundsoftware fortsetzen. Durch Hochrüstung von Hard- und Software wurde das Jahr 2000 konfliktlos erreicht. Das neue Verbundkonzept sieht eine veränderte Arbeitsteilung zwischen zentral gehaltenen bibliographischen Daten und den Bestandsdaten auf der Ebene der Lokalsysteme vor. Hierfür werden Anforderungen definiert.

- Abstract
- Dieser Artikel beschreibt zunächst die Erfahrungen der Universität Konstanz mit Summon als Discovery-Service. Summon wurde im Jahr 2011 als "KonSearch - die Literatursuchmaschine der Universität Konstanz" eingeführt. Seitdem stiegen die Nutzung und die Akzeptanz dauerhaft an. Im gleichen Jahr wurde an der Universität Konstanz das Projekt Blended Library gestartet. Innerhalb dieses Projekts wurden mehrere Ideen zur Verbindung von gedrucktem und digitalem Bestand und dem Ort Bibliothek entwickelt. Dies führte zum sogenannten Hybrid Bookshelf, das derzeit entwickelt wird.
