    Abstract
    Die Arbeit vergleicht die 3 Dokumentliefersysteme RAPDOC, JASON sowie das in den USA entwickelte UnCover hinsichtlich ihrer Dienstleistungsspektren und Nutzungsbedingungen. Gegenübergestellt werden dabei fachliche Abdeckung, Umfang und Qualität der verfügbaren Daten, Nutzerkreis sowie Zugangs- und Recherchebedingungen. Weiterhin werden der Ablauf von Dokumentbestellungen und die unterschiedlichen Preisstrukturen dargestellt. Ein abschließender Vergleich verdeutlicht, daß die zwischen den 3 Systemen bestehenden Unterschiede vor allem darin liegen, daß jeder Dienst mit einer speziellen Zielsetzung aund für einen anderen Nutzerkreis konzipiert wurde

    In Nordrhein-Westfalen gibt es seit einigen Jahren ein 'Zeitschriftenschwerpunktprogramm', das einigen Hochschulbibliotheken erlaubt, fachbezogen zusätzliche Zeitschriften anzuschaffen. Die Fachbereiche sind auf größtenteils freiwilliger Basis verteilt worden, unter Berücksichtigung des bereits vorhandenen Bestandes. Der Effekt sollte natürlich sein, daß andere Bibliotheken Spezialzeitschriften abbestellen konnten und so insgesamt Geld eingespart werden konnte. Doch es ergab sich ein Versorgungsproblem. Hier sollte das Zeitschriftenartikel-Liefersystem JASON Abhilfe schaffen
