- Abstract
- Im Beitrag werden Überlegungen zur Erfassung und Analyse veränderter kultureller Praxen als Implikationen der pädagogisch-didaktischen Wissensorganisation im Zeitalter von Computer und Internet angestellt, wobei eine Annäherung über die Dimension Raum angedacht wird. Damit wird ein selbstreflexiver Anspruch an die Wissens-Organisation gestellt; es gilt, die eigene Praxis bzw. deren Konsequenzen in den Blick zu bekommen.

- Abstract
- Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird die Aneignung inkompatibler Wissensinhalte zum Thema gemacht. Durch die Fokussierung auf die Negativität im Lernvollzug wird deutlich, dass im medialen Aneignungsprozess Wissensinhalte transformiert und transportiert werden, wobei der Inkompatibilität des Wissens und der Erfahrung eine bedeutsame Rolle zukommt. Hindernisse, Widerstände, Irritationen und Enttäuschungen stellen eine wesentliche Ressource der Aneignung von Wissen dar, indem sie den Lernenden mit seinen voreiligen Antizipationen und Vorurteilen konfrontieren. Es wird im Rahmen der vorliegenden Erörterung darauf hingewiesen, dass die Inkompatibilität von Wissen und Erfahrung eine zu berücksichtigende Instanz im Lernvollzug und somit auch für die Organisation von Wissen ist.

- Abstract
- Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es mit der Methodik der analytischen Rechtsethik die Plausibilität säkularer Begründungsdiskurse zum normativen Status biologischer Entitäten transparenter zu machen. Diese Untersuchung versucht daher vorrangig die weitgehend versteckten Wert- und Normprämissen bei bioethischen Diskursen herauszuarbeiten. Fundamental kritisiert wird die scheinbar weltanschaulich neutrale These einer verfügbaren "Würde des menschlichen Lebens" bei Embryonen.

- Abstract
- Im ersten Teil des Beitrages wird eine kurze Zusammenfassung der Diskussion um den Schutz der Privatheit in Recht und Ethik gegeben. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf der Informationsethik. Im zweiten Teil werden einige für die Wissensorganisation relevante Beispiele für den Umgang mit personenbezogenen Daten diskutiert: u. a. Web Information Retrieval, Data Mining sowie FOAF als Beispiel für die Standardisierung von personenbezogenen Informationen.

- Abstract
- Die Vernetzung der Informationssysteme und Datenbanken aus dem wissenschaftlichen Fachinformationsbereich lässt bislang den Aspekt der Kompatibilität und Konkordanz zwischen kontrollierten Vokabularen (semantische Heterogenität) weitgehend unberücksichtigt. Gerade aber für den inhaltlichen Zugang sachlich heterogen erschlössener Bestände spielen für den Nutzer die semantischen Querverbindungen (Mappings /Crosskonkordanzen) zwischen den zugrunde liegenden Knowledge Organization Systems (KOS) der Datenbanken eine entscheidende Rolle. Der Beitrag stellt Einsatzmöglichkeiten und Beispiele von Crosskonkordanzen (CK) im Projekt "Kompetenznetzwerk Modellbildung und Heterogenitätsbehandlung" (KoMoHe) sowie das Netz der bis dato entstandenen Terminolögie-Überstiege vor. Die am IZ entstandenen CK sollen künftig über einen Terminolögie-Service als Web Service genutzt werden, dieser wird im Beitrag exemplarisch vorgestellt.
