    Abstract
    Junge Menschen würden eher Aufgaben in der Arbeit an Roboter delegieren. Frage ist, was das bedeutet: Mangel an Kompetenz oder Widerstand gegen die alte Arbeitswelt? Wir sind es mittlerweile gewöhnt, mit digitalen Assistenten zu sprechen, und wir richten unsere Wohnungen für den Saugroboter ein, der möglichst freie Fahrt haben soll. Auch ansonsten wandern technische Aliens in unsere Alltagswelt ein, vor denen wir offenbar weniger Angst entwickeln als vor Zuwanderern, obgleich die Roboter und KI-Systeme uns garantiert Arbeitsplätze streitig machen werden. Roboter ziehen auch in die zwischenmenschlichen Beziehungen ein, Sexroboter machen Prostituierten bereits Konkurrenz und ersetzen womöglich den menschlichen Geschlechtspartner.

    Die Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek (DDB) will das gesamte kulturelle Erbe Deutschlands - Bücher, Bilder, Noten, Filme, Museumsobjekte - für alle Bürger digital zugänglich machen. Dazu sollen nicht weniger als 30000 Kultur- und Wissenschaftseinrichtungen im Land miteinander vernetzt werden. Ein gewaltiges Ziel - mit enormen Kosten und zahlreichen technischen Hürden.     Abstract
    Normdaten spielen speziell im Hinblick auf die Qualität der Inhaltserschließung bibliografischer und archivalischer Ressourcen eine wichtige Rolle. Ein konkretes Ziel der Inhaltserschließung ist z. B., dass alle Werke über Hermann Hesse einheitlich zu finden sind. Hier bieten Normdaten eine Lösung, indem z. B. bei der Erschließung einheitlich die GND-Nummer 11855042X für Hermann Hesse verwendet wird. Das Ergebnis ist eine höhere Qualität der Inhaltserschließung vor allem im Sinne von Einheitlichkeit und Eindeutigkeit und, daraus resultierend, eine bessere Auffindbarkeit. Werden solche Entitäten miteinander verknüpft, z. B. Hermann Hesse mit einem seiner Werke, entsteht ein Knowledge Graph, wie ihn etwa Google bei der Inhaltserschließung des Web verwendet (Singhal 2012). Die Entwicklung des Google Knowledge Graph und das hier vorgestellte Protokoll sind historisch miteinander verbunden: OpenRefine wurde ursprünglich als Google Refine entwickelt, und die Funktionalität zum Abgleich mit externen Datenquellen (Reconciliation) wurde ursprünglich zur Einbindung von Freebase entwickelt, einer der Datenquellen des Google Knowledge Graph. Freebase wurde später in Wikidata integriert. Schon Google Refine wurde zum Abgleich mit Normdaten verwendet, etwa den Library of Congress Subject Headings (Hooland et al. 2013).

    Das Internetangebot vieler Bibliotheken ist derart umfangreich, dass eigentlich eine Einführung in Dienstleistungen und Funktionalität sinnvoll erscheint. Nun nimmt aber nicht gleich jeder Nutzer an entsprechenden Einführungen teil, zumal für derartige Veranstaltungen auch noch die Anwesenheit in der Bibliothek zu einer bestimmten Zeit erforderlich wird. Sidemaps und Suchfunktion führen nicht immer zum Ziel, eine virtuelle Führung durch das Angebot über die Homepage ist eine mögliche Alternative.

    Abstract
    In Frankreich in aller Munde, in Deutschland noch wenig beachtet. Für junge Mathematiker bietet sie neue Berufsfelder, unser tägliches Leben wird sie verändern, viele technische Bereiche werden durch sie revolutioniert: die künstliche Intelligenz. Der Mathematiker Cédric Villani möchte dieses wichtige Gebiet in Frankreich und noch lieber in ganz Europa nach vorne bringen und diskutierte im Vorfeld der Gauß-Vorlesung in Regensburg mit Wissenschaftlern und Vertretern der Industrie. Die wichtigsten Anliegen von Villanis Initiative haben sich inzwischen zu Eckpunkten der Politik derdeutschen Bundesregierung entwickelt.
